Pathway to Life Church (Devonport, Tasmania) is looking for a Leading Pastor

Description of Devonport Pathway to Life Church (Pathway)
Pathway is a friendly, caring evangelical church in Devonport, on Tasmania’s North West Coast. We have 65 adults and 37 children, covering a broad spectrum of ages. We are part of the Christian Reformed Churches of Australia. Devonport is a lovely town, a major regional centre for the North West Coast, with a mild climate and spectacular natural beauty. With approximately 25,000 people there are huge opportunities for outreach in our area.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, gospel-hearted, people-loving, training-oriented, mission-minded, pastor to help Pathway to Life go the next step. We would love to appoint a pastor in 2016, ideally by the middle of 2016.

That’s why we are looking for someone
• with a deep love for God, his people, and the lost.
• who is prayerful.
• who can recruit and train ministry leaders.
• who can explain and apply the Bible to people in their everyday lives.
• with good people skills, who can urge people to follow Jesus whole-heartedly.
• with the ability to work closely in a ministry team environment.
• with a sense of adventure and a willingness to try new things.
• with a three-year degree in theology, or equivalent
