Hindu believers will celebrate Diwali this Sunday. So it is a good reminder for us to pray for Hindus specifically this Sunday.

For some, Diwali is about the “inner light” that protects from spiritual darkness i.e. it’s about good over evil.
Other Hindus celebrate Diwali as a dedication to the goddess Lakshmi … that she will come into homes and bless households.

Ultimately we know (Acts 4:12) that Diwali is a hiding of the way, the truth and the life.  Hinduism suppresses the clearly understandable and available truth about the living God. Hinduism does not offer the true and living hope. Tragically, they are missing out on a genuine relationship with the One who is life, light, grace, and truth!

Please join in prayer for Hindus who make up 18% of the World’s image bearers:

• that the Holy Spirit might be poured out upon India and Nepal.

• that those who do not know the truth about Jesus may seek him and turn to him in faith.

• that God would bless the ministry of G.O.S.P.E.L. as it seeks to reach tribal people with the truth.

• that even more G.O.S.P.E.L. evangelists may be resourced for spreading the light of Christ.
